Catch and release fishing lets you enjoy all the thrill of reeling in a fish – without taking it home. It’s a great way to learn about respecting wildlife, and it helps keep our ponds healthy and stocked for future anglers.
Golden Ponds is home to a wide variety of coarse fish species, including Silver Perch, Black Bream, Carp, and Koi. Many of the ponds feature fishing platforms that add to the comfort, making for a relaxing and enjoyable fishing experience.

Fishing Details
Its catch and release only, take photo and release the fish back into water.
What to bring
- Bring your own Fishing Rod, Tackle and Barbless Hooks (or crimp the barbs with pliers)
- A fishing net to land the fish and old towel to handle the fish
- Bring your own bait.
Suggestions: Sweet corn Kernels, Bread, Polony Diced up, Prawns, Chicken etc.

We are open 7 days a week 9am to 4.30pm (Fishing last entry at 3.30pm)

Please attend the new office (find the Big Green Shed) located on the left side of main gate entry, for access, bookings, payments, check-ins and check-outs.
